All Plugged Out by J. PhillipsWhyless (Wireless)

Lines and cords
tripping
rooted in
or
exposed
appendages sprouting everywhere
fingers shouting everywhere.

I’m all plugged out.

Bundled cords
in the walls
spider tunnels hugging beams
streaming information
screaming.

Less is more.
Wireless is coming.

Seismic waves
multiplying
racing through the hidden world.
Who can see
the sharing?

Some plugged in
outside the door
Hackers stealing more
tripping on the lie
that no-one sees.

Some plugged in
and not aware
of others who are sharing.

Some plugged in
and quite aware
that
more may be less
and less
may be more or less
the opiate desired.
