Phillips was one of the finalists in the Art Overboard Awards 2007,
an award given for art with a social or political theme. Her entry also
won the "Peoples choice award". The Honourable Steve Whan MP State Member
for Monaro opened the exhibition and Terry Hicks, father of Guantanamo
Bay detainee, David Hicks, presented awards on saturday 17th February
2007.
