Dreamweaver Special Characters

Open Dreamweaver if it isn't already open and define the site if you haven't already done it.
  1. Double click on the file called formatting.html to display in your workspace.    
  2.  Click in a cell > Insert > Special Character > Copyright > Insert > Line Break  > Insert > Special Character > continue adding all the special characters and separate them with a line break.  Try separating one using the Enter key which produces a paragraph space.  Notice the larger space.      
  3. Insert > Horizontal Rule > Right click on the line and choose some values.

  4. While it is still selected, change to Code view  and place the cursor at inside the end of the code

  5.       
  6. Press the space bar > select color and choose a colour.         
  7. Save.          
  8. Click  to preview the page in a browser window.  Change the border sizes to suit.     
  9. Insert > Date and choose a format. 
  10. Insert > Text Objects and put some on your page including the following: You will need to find some formatted text in a word document for the Preformated text option.
